Cold Case 3 (コールドケース３－真実の扉－, Cold Case: Shinjitsu no Tobira) is a WOWOW mystery drama produced for the network's 30th anniversary that ran from December 5, 2020 into February 2021 across 10 episodes, the third season of Japan's licensed adaptation of the American procedural Cold Case. Yo Yoshida leads the Kanagawa Prefecture cold-case unit that reopens unsolved homicides, with Ayato Nagayama and Kenichi Takito returning from earlier seasons. Tomokazu Miura continues as unit chief Hidetoshi Motoki and Ken Mitsuishi continues as detective Toru Kaneko, both returning from Cold Case 2 with new watches for this season; Toru Nakamura joins the franchise as Hiroshi Takahara, a suspect linked to a string of bombings uncovered when a device fragment surfaces at an explosion scene.
