Worn by Ed O'Neill as Jay Pritchett. Jay wears an Omega Speedmaster Professional on a dark leather strap in season six, documented by Fratello's Speedy Tuesday in episode 11, "The Day We Almost Died", where it appears on his wrist as he drives, and again in episode 13, "Rash Decisions", where it reads as a modern reference of the hand-wound Moonwatch. The leather strap does the characterisation: on a bracelet the Speedmaster reads sporty, on leather it reads like a watch a man has owned for twenty years, which suits a self-made businessman who also keeps a Rolex Daytona and a vintage Submariner or Sea-Dweller in rotation.
