Worn by Ed O'Neill as Jay Pritchett. Jay wears an Omega Speedmaster Professional on a dark leather strap in season six, documented by Fratello's Speedy Tuesday in episode 11, "The Day We Almost Died", where it appears on his wrist as he drives, and again in episode 13, "Rash Decisions", where it reads as a modern reference of the hand-wound Moonwatch. The leather strap does the characterisation: on a bracelet the Speedmaster reads sporty, on leather it reads like a watch a man has owned for twenty years, which suits a self-made businessman who also keeps a Rolex Daytona and a vintage Submariner or Sea-Dweller in rotation. Bell & Ross BR01

Worn by Ed O'Neill as Jay Pritchett. Jay also wears a khaki-dialed Bell & Ross BR01, a piece Montres de Luxe reports is very probably O'Neill's own watch rather than a costume pull, alongside the Rolex Daytona and vintage Submariner noted elsewhere in his rotation. Mostly in stainless steel, but I have also spotted him wearing the platinum Rolex Daytona with blue dial." No reference or episode is given, and both executions are covered here; Montres de Luxe's Bell & Ross note likewise lists the Daytona in his rotation. Fratello reports that Jay "is seen wearing a vintage Rolex Submariner or Sea-Dweller as well in season 6", the writer unable to separate the two lines from the episodes and unsure whether it appeared earlier; no reference, dial or episode is given, and both families remain candidates. (Fratello) A Klocksnack member, grabbbbenVetejvad, posted five captures from season 6, episode 23 in July 2016 and asked whether Jay's watch was an acrylic-crystal Submariner, a 5513 or a 1680; the frames show a black-dial dive watch on a steel bracelet on his left wrist and resolve neither the dial text nor a date window, so the question stays where Fratello left it.
