Escobar's watch through the show's first two seasons is a yellow-gold dress watch with a champagne dial and cushion-form case on a black strap, which the spotting record reads as a vintage hand-wound Rolex Cellini, a case-shape argument, since no frame resolves branding, and published candidates disagree on the reference (3508 and 3805/8 both circulate) while an Omega De Ville quartz has also been proposed. The frames support the family, not a reference. The choice is the interesting part: the real Escobar was known for an iced-out Day-Date, and the production instead put its Escobar in the quietest watch Rolex made, the thin precious-metal line named for the Renaissance goldsmith Benvenuto Cellini, a watch for the legitimate businessman Escobar spent years pretending to be.
