Battlestate Games' hardcore first-person extraction shooter, set in the fictional Norvinsk region where scavenged valuables are currency. Released to buy-in closed beta in 2017 and out of beta with its 1.0 launch in 2025. Built in Unity for Windows, it opened in closed alpha on 4 August 2016, entered closed beta on 28 July 2017 and reached version 1.0 on 15 November 2025. Players take the field as operators of one of two private military companies, the Western-contracted USEC or the Russian-backed BEAR, in timed raids of twenty to fifty minutes on maps around the fictional Norvinsk Special Economic Zone city of Tarkov; anything carried in is lost on death unless insured or stowed in a secure container. The "Roler Submariner gold wrist watch" is a high-value loot and barter valuable whose in-game description calls it "a gold watch of the famous Roler brand" with "18 karats yellow gold" case; it is displayed on a mannequin's wrist in the Customs Repair Building and turns up as scavengable loot across the maps. "Roler" is the game's in-fiction stand-in and the item is a clear parody of the Rolex Submariner: gold Oyster-style case and bracelet, dark dial with round markers, a date aperture, and a coin-edge rotating bezel, closer in metal to a yellow-gold Submariner Date than to the steel references cataloged here. Traser P66 Automatic Pro
