Rolex Datejust 16014
More actions
The Rolex Datejust 16014 is the 36 mm stainless-steel Datejust of the five-digit era, produced from 1977 into the late 1980s: an Oyster case, 18k white-gold fluted bezel, acrylic crystal with Cyclops date lens, and a choice of Jubilee or Oyster bracelet. It introduced the calibre 3035, Rolex's first quickset-date automatic movement, letting the wearer advance the date without cycling the hands through a full 24-hour turn, and it sits between the smooth-bezel steel 16000 and the two-tone 16013 in the reference's family tree. (Bob's Watches) In Iris II, Seoul retailer abbawatch.co.kr supplied a vintage 16014 for Lee Beom-soo's renegade NSS agent Yoo Jung-won, worn across episodes 10 and 11 of the espionage sequel.
