A group of young graduates compete for a handful of permanent positions at the London investment bank Pierpoint & Co, before the show widens in later seasons to the broader UK financial sector. (Wikipedia) Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay for HBO and the BBC, the drama premiered in November 2020 and has drawn some of the strongest reviews of any prestige series from its third season onward. Otto Mostyn, an old-money asset manager and Harper's former Oxford classmate, is played by Roger Barclay from the third season.

Costume designer Laura Smith, interviewed on the show's wardrobe, says of Otto: "another old-money type... also had a Cartier Santos, so it was really important that Harper would take this cue from meeting him," using his watch as one of the deliberate style signals the third season builds around him.
