Breitling Emergency II

Worn by Richard Hammond as Himself. Season 22, episode 6, the show's last aired traditional challenge: Hammond is dropped alone on Wolf Mountain, British Columbia, wearing a Breitling Emergency II, and pulls its antenna wires to activate the watch's dual-frequency distress beacon so Jeremy Clarkson and James May can locate him. Omega Speedmaster Professional

Worn by Richard Hammond as Himself. In the special 50 Years of Bond Cars, first shown on 29 October 2012, Hammond wears a steel chronograph on a bracelet; jb31700 posted a capture of it a week later under the name Speedmaster, gogo37 added that an Omega Ploprof also passes briefly in the programme, and Shanks, seeing the special on French television in April 2013, again reported Hammond at the wheel of the Bond cars with a Speedmaster. Monochrome Watches lists the Speedmaster Moonwatch among the watches Hammond wore on the series. The forum frame is too soft to read the dial, so the Professional is the press's reading and the members' shorthand, not a reference check. Breitling Navitimer

Worn by Richard Hammond as Himself. jb31700 photographed his screen in September 2012 as Hammond drove an Abarth 500C Esseesse with a steel Navitimer on a bracelet, its slide-rule bezel and pale registers visible at the wheel, and remy#3 reported a Navitimer on him again in the episode French television showed before the Bond special in April 2013. Monochrome Watches records a 43 mm Navitimer among Hammond's watches on the series. Two members and the watch press agree on the Navitimer; none gives a reference. Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss

Worn by James May as Himself. Monochrome's 2014 survey of the presenters' watches captions May "with a Rolex Milgauss", noting that Rolex dropped the antimagnetic line in 1988 and reintroduced it in 2007 "in its beefy 40mm configuration". Monochrome's 2014 survey captions "James May wearing an Omega Seamaster Chrono Quartz digital", the 1976 analog-digital chronograph it calls "Omega's flagship chronograph" of its day and "the first digital/analog chronograph on the market", and notes that Wikipedia lists May among the model's owners. The article gives no episode; the page's reference is the model's single steel execution rather than a reading of the frame. Monochrome's 2014 survey captions "James May with an IWC Portuguese Chronograph", the model it calls an "all-time favorite here at the Monochrome headquarters"; no reference or episode is given. In the same September 2012 post jb31700 noted that Clarkson wore the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean he had had for many years, and remy#3 saw an Omega on him in April 2013. Monochrome Watches confirms that Clarkson moved from a Seamaster Professional in the early series to a Planet Ocean in the later ones, the watch he went on wearing in The Grand Tour. IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph TOP GUN (ceramic)

Worn by Jeremy Clarkson as Himself. Following the series on RMC Découverte, Le Güi wrote on 9 January 2014 that Clarkson kept his Planet Ocean in the cars but wore an all-black chronograph in the studio, posted a frame of him on the set with the watch on his left wrist and suggested an IWC Top Gun; misterb also thought IWC, -Laurent- took it for a Spitfire, and BRxavier concluded from the black ceramic case with steel pushers that it was indeed an IWC Top Gun, listing it again in May among the presenters' watches with the Planet Ocean. Three members agree on a black ceramic IWC pilot's chronograph and two of them on the Top Gun against one Spitfire reading; the frame, a 30 January 2013 capture from a UK broadcast carrying the BBC logo, shows the black chronograph but no reference.
